Standards Institute (ETSI) will be implementing a new set of compliance standards (ETSI EN 300328v1. 8. 1) for 2.4 st GHz wireless products, effective 1 January , 2015. These changes were made to address the problems created by the huge number of wireless products operating at this band over the past many years. Examples would include products that have wireless protocols such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, WLAN and other proprietary protocols in 2.4/ 5GHz ISM frequency bands. The new standards have redefined many of the test procedures and types of measurements required which calls for specialised capabilities and test equipments.
